Percussion Design

Andy Filipiak is a freelance composer, arranger, and music educator originally from the Chicagoland area. He primarily focuses in the marching arts and has had the opportunity to arrange, clinic and perform with groups in the U.S., Europe, and Japan.  His marching experience includes performing with The Glassmen, The Cavaliers, Matrix, and Rhythm X.

In the last several years Andy has had the privilege to arrange for many marching bands and indoor groups from around the country, as well as spend the last 8 summers as the front ensemble coordinator for the Boston Crusaders. 

Andy currently lives in the Houston area where he is the front ensemble arranger and coordinator at The Woodlands High School, The Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps, and Monarch Independent. Andy is a proud endorser of Innovative Percussion and Zildjian.
